Geoplast invited to talk about bidirectional resistant lightened slabs during a lecture at IUAV University in Venice

IUAV University in Venice, Italy, established in 1926.

Wednesday, April 5, 2017, our Engineer Marco Calvi will participate in a lecture for Architecture students at the IUAV University in Venice, and will give a speech about bidirectional slab formworks in reinforced concrete and their lightening methods.

Established in 1926, IUAV is one of the first Architecture Schools in Italy, totally focusing on design. The University has entered into agreements with a number of institutions and cultural subjects in Venice, in the region and abroad (La Biennale di Venezia, Teatro La Fenice, theatres in Rome and Turin, Triennale di Torino, Philadelphia Museum, New York University, MIT of Boston) that involve students in artistic, design and theatrical productions. IUAV invests a lot in research concerning issues related to the city, region and environment, landscape, infrastructure and mobility, protection and conservation, sustainable design.
