89 % permeable Runfloor improves flood resilience

Runfloor is our solution for flood protection with up to 89 % surface permeability. When implemented in high resistance parking and transit areas Runfloor protects the grass and allows easy maintenance of the green surface. Green parking lots provide natural drainage and have the highest flood resilience, compared to alternatives.
What if all the parking lots were green? As cities are trying to protect from floods, large parking lot areas present a real threat. Paved surfaces increase runoff by reducing the amount of rain absorbed by the ground. The green permeable parking lot can completely eliminate runoff from small storm events and capture as much as 50 – 80 % of runoff from larger storms.
