Congratulations to Elon Musk!

Our mission is to promote sustainable profitability – a principle that sustainable design and construction are more profitable than non-sustainable approaches. The opposite of sustainable profitability is non-sustainable profitability which is an outdated and extremely damaging belief that sustainability costs more.

For this reason, we are delighted to see Elon Musk as the second richest person in the world. Mr. Musk runs a business – Tesla – which is both sustainable and profitable both for investors and customers. This is a perfect example of sustainable profitability which we offer with our own products.

We are also happy to see Warren Buffett drop down on the list of the richest people. We can thank Mr. Buffett for providing us with so much plastic to recycle via his long term support of Coca Cola and their plastic packaging, but he represents an outdated understanding of profitability which is detached from sustainability, with which we disagree.

We hope to see more sustainably profitable investors, designers, and managers reach the top.
