Geoplast year in review: our key 2024 milestones
27 December 2024
At the beginning of 2024, we launched Geopod, a permanent formwork for waffle raft foundations on expansive clay soils, compliant with the AS 2870-2011 standard.
We introduced the Geoplast Portal to streamline product ordering. It features an easy interface to select products, set quantities, add delivery details, and place orders quickly.
Our sustainability efforts were highlighted by new projects. Drainroof was used at the Vimar Logistics Hub, Aquabox was ideal for shallow excavation at the Industrial warehouse in Cambridge, while Drainpanel made Sea Vision headquarters more sustainable.
We had an update on the patent infringement proceeding against Peri. Italian and German courts concluded that the formwork “Peri Duo” infringes our patent EP 1 538 277 B1 (“EP’277”).
We launched GeoplastConsulting.com to showcase our services and help clients make their projects more sustainable and profitable.
At Batimat 2024 we presented 9 products: Aquabox, Modulo, Elevetor Max, our recycled plastic formwork, Skynet, and the new Rootbox for urban tree root management.
Based on client feedback, we developed two new Aquabox accessories: the Aquabox Half Base, reducing the basin height to 45 cm, and the Aquabox Half Grid, which keeps the modules sealed from debris.
At the year’s end, we launched Rootbox, a patented module for tree root management. Made of only 2 components, it protects roots and prevents pavement damage, enhancing urban green spaces.
Wishing you a successful and sustainable New Year from all of us at Geoplast!
