The Courmayeur project involved integrating the 2,000 m² parking structure into the natural surroundings. Drainroof was installed on a 15% slope, supporting 800 m³ of soil with turf and medium-sized shrubs, seamlessly blending into the alpine landscape and preserving the natural rainwater permeability of the area.
Framlingham Castle, built in the 11th century, needed a sustainable solution for the new parking lot at the entrance gate. Geocross provided a quick, easy setup over the existing green area by simply laying and pressing the grid into the ground, creating anti-slip vehicle access without disturbing the grass surface.
Designed by architect Cristiana dell’Acqua from Studio dell’Acqua, Filodivino Resort was built into the hills of the Marche region. The underground location provided excellent insulation from the sides, but the roof remained exposed to temperature changes. Drainroof was used to create a rooftop garden, integrating the building into the landscape and enhancing its energy efficiency.
Our clients at Principi di Butera needed to enhance their parking and transit areas without compromising the site’s environmental integrity. Geogravel provided the stability of an asphalt surface while preserving the soil’s natural water cycle, creating functional and sustainable access areas that complimented the surrounding landscape.
The turf at the Square of Miracles, located near the Leaning Tower of Pisa, required protection from the large number of tourists visiting the site year-round. Geoflor provided large cells designed for direct installation over the existing lawn, allowing immediate pedestrian access while preserving the site’s natural rainwater drainage.
