GEOPANEL is a modular and UV resistant formwork in ABS. It is light, weighting only 11 kg, it can be installed by a single person without the need of a crane. The product is reusable for 100 times when properly used and maintained.

GEOPANEL CL ELEMENT

Bulkhead panel used to form wall ends: it is fastened to the Geopanel formwork using the standard fastening handles. Geopanel CL has three rows of fixing handle holes, designed to form walls or columns of three different sizes. The holes on the panel face make it possible to use tie-rods. Any unused hole is stopped with the standard Cap 25 Geopanel plugs.

GEOPANEL – Installation

GEOPANEL formwork system is an easy and intuitive system of modular formwork in plastic used to build walls, foundations and columns in concrete.

GEOPANEL is a patented system with a wide range of panels of different size which can be assembled with fast-lock nylon handles.

Thanks to the multiple panel combinations, it is possible to erect structures of any size and shape.

GEOPANEL is easy to assemble, as it uses fast-lock nylon handles that firmly join the forms with a simple 90 degree turn. The outer ribbing is designed for simple propping and plumbing. The holes in the panels are used for the required tie-rods and spacers. The corner are reinforced with steel alignment bars; more steel alignment bars are used at the base of the formwork in case of height of 3 mt.

Set the Geopanel 120×60 cm elements side by side and join them with the standard high-strength nylon fastening handles. Turning the handles by 90° is sufficient to achieve full connection.

Insert the spacer sleeves between the two sides of the formwork, then insert the tie-rods and finally fasten both ends with washers. The unused holes are closed with the Cap 25 plugs.

For walls of height greater than 2.40 m use the steel alignment bars at the base of the formwork.

The outer ribbing is designed for simple propping and plumbing.

GEOPANEL CORNER ASSEMBLY

The forming of corners is made easy by the Geopanel inner- and outer-corner panels. Combined with the various sizes available of small panels, the system allows the forming of a full range of wall sizes. For assembly instructions please consult our HANDBOOK.

FITTING THE CORNER ALIGNMENT BARS

The outer corners are reinforced with special steel alignment bars, which are composed by two elements (male/female) and an anchor-nut. For assembly instructions please consult our HANDBOOK.

TECHNICAL ADVANTAGES

SPEED

Each GEOPANEL weighs just 11 kg, and the system can be erected by a single person. Light and easy to assemble, the system uses fast-lock nylon fastening handles which firmly join the panels with a simple 90 degree turn. GEOPANEL does not need any releasing agents nor any special treatment while assembling or during pouring.

INSTALLATION

The outer side of the panels is ribbed to make posting and plumbing easiser. The panels have holes to fit standard off-the shelf tie-rods, same as used for the traditional steel panels.

DISMANTLING

Concrete does not stick to plastic, thus stripping is extremely easy, and it is possible to clean the formwork simply with water completely avoiding detergents.

STORAGE

GEOPANEL can be completely disassembled and does not need to be stored in a dry environment.

MODULARITY

All elements are 60 cm high and are 20, 25, 30, 40 or 120 cm long, without any need to cut them to length, thanks to the modularity of the system.

HANDLING ON SITE

The material can be easily disassembled and quickly handled within the construction site without having to use a crane thanks to its low weight and the fast-off handles.

REUSAGE

GEOPANEL is cost effective as it requires very little maintenance compared to traditional systems, and it can be used up to 100 times when correctly washed and correctly used.
